Why I designed it

Sometimes, I design out of pure love for a material. That was the case with the Curl Dog Carrier.

The moment I first touched the curl fabric, I knew it had to become more than a bed – it had this warm, tactile quality that just invited closeness. I wanted to create a carrier that felt like an extension of your outfit, not an afterthought. A bag that was elegant enough to take anywhere – and cozy enough that your dog would want to stay inside.

What it took to get right

The biggest challenge? Keeping the soft, plush look of the fabric while ensuring structure and stability.

We reinforced the base and sides so the bag would hold its shape – even when your dog shifts around inside. The outer pocket was added because, let’s be honest, a little extra space for treats (or lip balm) always comes in handy. Adjustable straps made it more wearable, and we tested it on walks, café visits, and train rides to make sure it worked in real life.

It’s more than a carrier – it’s a beautifully made piece you’ll be happy to carry.
