Karla Dog Bed | Oat Bouclé

I designed Karla with a very simple goal: to give dogs the kind of comfort and care they give us every day. As someone who shares life with a dog, I know how much their well-being matters – and how the things we choose for them naturally become part of our homes. I wanted to create a bed that offers true orthopedic support while fitting beautifully into a calm, modern interior. Something soft, supportive, and quietly elegant. Karla is my way of honoring the everyday closeness we share with our dogs – thoughtfully designed for their rest, and for the spaces we share.

Karla was developed over many months – through sketching, prototyping, and collaboration with skilled workshops in Europe. We tested different foam densities to get the right balance of softness and support. We sourced fabrics that are both OEKO-TEX® certified and durable enough for real life with dogs. Every curve, stitch, and fastening was considered. Even the washable inner cover was reworked multiple times – because comfort and care should extend beyond the surface. Nothing about Karla was rushed or left to chance. It’s the result of doing things the right way, not the fast way.

Customers often tell us that Karla becomes their dog’s favorite spot in the house – and their own, too. The orthopedic mattress makes a real difference for dogs with joint issues or those who just need deeper rest. But it’s not only about comfort. People love that it blends in quietly, without shouting “dog bed.” It feels intentional in the home – designed with the same care you’d give to any other piece of furniture. Clean lines, honest materials, and a sense of calm. Just as it should be.
