The story behind it
Why I designed it
Dogs are messy eaters. But that doesn’t mean their dining space has to be. The Staey Bowl Mat was created to keep floors clean – while still looking beautiful in the home. A subtle way to add function without compromising your interior.
What it took to get it right
We shaped the mat to fit two bowls perfectly and selected high-quality vegan leather that’s easy to clean and water-repellent. The design is inspired by Scandinavian principles: minimal, elegant, and practical. Just wipe it down, and it’s good as new.
Why customers love it
It’s stylish, simple, and blends seamlessly into any room. No more splashes or stains on the floor – just a defined, tidy eating zone your dog can call their own (and you’ll actually like looking at).

My story
Hi, I’m Noa – designer and founder of Staey. I live in Denmark with my dog Alba, and I started Staey because I was tired of choosing between functionality and aesthetics.
Every Staey design starts with real moments from my life with my own Alba. I sketch the first ideas at my kitchen table, and my team and I test, tweak and adjust until it works – for your dog and for you. Because practical can (and should) look beautiful.
