The Staey Liva Dog Sweater is a striped knitted sweater with a roll neck for your best friend – made for the cold days when an extra layer is needed. It combines comfort and aesthetics in a timeless design that looks just as good on the sofa as it does on the walk.
Staey is known for quality dog gear, and this sweater meets all expectations.
The sweater is knitted from a soft blend of 80% wool and 20% nylon. The wool keeps your dog warm, while the nylon strengthens the knit so the sweater keeps its shape. It features wide stripes in oat and espresso brown, a high roll neck that can be folded down to keep the neck warm, and the Staey monogram embroidered in espresso brown on the back. The ribbed edges at the collar, sleeves and hem keep the sweater close and warm without feeling tight.
The underside is cut shorter, so male dogs can pee without the sweater getting wet.

Liva Dog Sweater | Oat/Espresso
Color
The story behind it

Why I designed it
I have always loved a good striped sweater – it is one of those pieces that never goes out of style. I wanted Alba to have one too, in colours that feel warm and calm.
So I made Liva. Wide stripes, a cosy roll neck and soft wool – a sweater that feels just as good to wear as it looks.

What it took to get it right
Getting the roll neck right took some fine-tuning. It needed to be high enough to keep the neck warm, soft enough to fold down, and stretchy enough to go over the head easily.
Then came the stripes. They had to line up across the back and sleeves, the underside was cut shorter for male dogs, and the monogram is embroidered.

Why customers love it
It is the striped sweater everyone wants in their own wardrobe – now made for the dog. Wide oat and espresso stripes, a cosy roll neck and a small embroidered monogram.
And it is just as practical as it looks. Warm enough for cold walks, soft enough to wear around the house, and cut shorter underneath so male dogs can pee freely. The one that comes out first when the temperature drops.

My story
Hi, I’m Noa – designer and founder of Staey. I live in Denmark with my dog Alba, and I started Staey because I was tired of choosing between functionality and aesthetics.
Every Staey design starts with real moments from my life with my own Alba. I sketch the first ideas at my kitchen table, and my team and I test, tweak and adjust until it works – for your dog and for you. Because practical can (and should) look beautiful.
