Why I designed it
I designed the bouclé bone toy as a small but thoughtful piece – something that brings joy to your dog while fitting naturally into your home. I’ve always loved the idea that a dog’s toy doesn’t need to be loud or disposable. It can be soft, durable, and beautiful. This bone is meant to be comforting, easy to carry, and visually calm. A little companion for your dog – and a subtle detail for your space.
What it took to get it right
Creating this toy was about balancing function and form. We chose a bouclé fabric that feels soft but holds up to daily use, and paired it with a cloud-like polyester filling that keeps its shape without being overly firm. The entire toy is made from OEKO-TEX® certified, pet-safe materials – because peace of mind matters as much as play. Like all our designs, it was tested, tweaked, and refined until it felt just right.

My story
Hi, I’m Noa – designer and founder of Staey. I live in Denmark with my dog Alba, and I started Staey because I was tired of choosing between functionality and aesthetics.
Every Staey design starts with real moments from my life with my own Alba. I sketch the first ideas at my kitchen table, and my team and I test, tweak and adjust until it works – for your dog and for you. Because practical can (and should) look beautiful.
