Thanks to the wide velcro straps on both sides and around the chest, the jacket can be quickly and easily put on without the hassle of pulling it over the head. Additionally, the jacket can be adjusted to fit your dog’s size perfectly.

Washing Instructions:
Close all zippers and velcro straps. Wash on a gentle cycle at a maximum of 30 degrees with low spin. Use mild detergent and no fabric softener.

The story behind it
Why I designed it
There’s something about soft fabrics that instantly calms a dog down – like a hug they can wear. That’s what inspired the Teddy Jacket. I didn’t want to make just another coat. I wanted to make that one jacket your dog always feels good in.
Perfect for the quiet chill of spring mornings or crisp autumn walks, this piece is more than practical. It’s cozy, it’s beautiful, and it gives your dog that extra bit of warmth without weighing them down.
What it took to get it right
We started with teddy fabric – not just for the look, but for the softness. The jacket is unlined to keep it lightweight, and the belly panel is made from an easy-wipe fabric because, well… dogs will be dogs.
It opens wide with side velcro, so you don’t have to wrestle it over your dog’s head. A drawstring at the back gives a better fit, and the zipper on top ensures it works perfectly with your harness. Optional leg straps give extra hold if needed – but never get in the way when not used.

My story
Hi, I’m Noa – designer and founder of Staey. I live in Denmark with my dog Alba, and I started Staey because I was tired of choosing between functionality and aesthetics.
Every Staey design starts with real moments from my life with my own Alba. I sketch the first ideas at my kitchen table, and my team and I test, tweak and adjust until it works – for your dog and for you. Because practical can (and should) look beautiful.
