The story behind it
Why I designed it
I designed Ebba for people who see their dog as a natural part of their home and their life. A dog bed shouldn’t interrupt the space - it should belong in it. Ebba is about respect: for the dog’s comfort, for everyday living, and for thoughtful design that lasts.
What it took to get it right
Getting Ebba right meant refining every detail. From selecting materials that feel soft yet durable, to developing a filling that supports the dog’s body without losing shape over time. The removable, washable cover was essential - so the bed stays beautiful in real life, not just on day one. Nothing was added without purpose, and nothing was left to chance.
Why customers love it
Because Ebba doesn’t look like a typical dog bed. Its calm, timeless design blends naturally into the home, making it a piece of furniture rather than an accessory. Customers love that it balances beautiful aesthetics with genuine comfort—creating a resting place their dog chooses again and again.

My story
Hi, I’m Noa – designer and founder of Staey. I live in Denmark with my dog Alba, and I started Staey because I was tired of choosing between functionality and aesthetics.
Every Staey design starts with real moments from my life with my own Alba. I sketch the first ideas at my kitchen table, and my team and I test, tweak and adjust until it works – for your dog and for you. Because practical can (and should) look beautiful.
